Believe it, I had very interessed, after to learn and search your podcast about the Dzonghka (sounds strange, a man that come from a country that speaks one of the most known languages in the world, but believe, I want to learn it!). Sounds different learn a different and a almost unknown language. Despite this, I'm very interessed to keep my studies here, hehe...

Hello and thank you for your podcasts. I am an American who will be going to Bhutan as part of a medical mission.
My questions is how to properly address people I will meet. Do I use the familiar or more formal address? I will be meeting mostly parents and their children.
I know I will not know enough Dzonghka to converse, but wish to appear friendly, especially to children.
Thank you and please continue your podcasts!
